Windows

We offer a variety of window styles to suit every home:

Our Window Selection

Casement

A casement window is a window that is attached to its frame by one or more hinges at the side. They are used singly or in pairs within a common frame, in which case they are hinged on the outside. Casement windows are often held open using a casement stay. Windows hinged at the top are referred to as awning windows, and ones hinged at the bottom are called hoppers.

Awning

An awning window is a casement window that is hung horizontally, hinged on top, so that it swings outward like an awning. In addition to being used independently, they can be stacked, several in one opening, or combined with fixed glass. They are particularly useful for ventilation.

Double-Hung

A double-hung window is the traditional style of window in the United Kingdom, and many other places that were formerly colonized by the UK, with two parts (sashes) that overlap slightly and slide up and down inside the frame. The two parts are not necessarily the same size; where the upper sash is smaller (shorter) it is termed a cottage window. Currently, most new double-hung sash windows use spring balances to support the sashes, but traditionally, counterweights held in boxes on either side of the window were used.

Single-Hung

A single-hung window is a window that has one sash that is movable (usually the bottom one) and the other fixed. This is the earlier form of sliding sash window and is also cheaper.

Sliding

A sliding window is essentially a double-hung window turned on its side. We offer four different types of sliding windows: single lift-out sliders, double lift-out sliders, single tilt sliders and double tilt sliders.

Bow

A bow window or compass window is a curved bay window. Bow windows are designed to create space by projecting beyond the exterior wall of a building, and to provide a wider view of the garden or street outside and typically combine four or more windows, which join to form an arch, differentiating them from the more common and often three-sided bay window. Casement windows are often used.

Bay

A bay window is a multi-panel window, with at least three panels set at different angles to create a protrusion from the wall line. Bay windows project outward from the main walls of a building and form a bay in a room.

Tilt & Turn

Popular in Europe, Tilt & Turn windows and doors offer versatile functionality, allowing them to swing open like a door or tilt inwards for ventilation. Their innovative design enhances safety, as they can be partially opened and locked for secure airflow.

With easy access for cleaning and enhanced energy efficiency, these windows provide homeowners with convenience, improved air circulation, and reduced utility costs. Ideal for modern homes seeking practicality and elevated style.
